While there is plenty to see at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s World War II Weekend, visitors also have the rare opportunity to fly in one or more of the most famous and successful aircraft of World War II.     2017-0527 Millville, NJ Airshow Photography Credits: CEGPhotography.com (2017)(C) MILLVILLE -- Thousands of spectators cast their heads skyward to watch pilots soar through the sky during the Millville Wheels and Wings Airshow Saturday. The show, presented by the Millville Army Air Field Museum, salutes all military and veterans this Memorial Day weekend. The two-day event, at the Millville Executive Airport, featured more than two dozen demonstrations that included the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, a Skydive Cross Keys parachute demonstration, and a FM2 Wildcat demonstration by Greg Shelton.

    Trip to National Museum of USAF in Dayton, OH 04/17-04/19 to witness Mr Cole (Doolittle's co-pilot on crew #1) final toast after 57 years. The event is recorded here and all around the web. During our visit we walked the new 4th hanger and attended the public commemoration of 75th anniversary festivities including the public display of 11 B-25 Mitchell's from around the country as well as the flyover tribute.

    Photography Credits: CEGPhotography.com (C)2016. The USAF Air Demonstration Squadron ("Thunderbirds") is the air demonstration squadron of the United States Air Force (USAF). The Thunderbirds are assigned to the 57th Wing, and are based at Nellis AFB, Nevada. The Thunderbirds perform aerial demonstrations in the F-16C Fighting Falcon, and they also fly two F-16D twin-seat trainers. Much of the Thunderbirds' display alternates between maneuvers performed by the diamond, and those performed by the opposing solos, all with magnificent accuracy and precision. In addition to the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, confirmed for the 2016 show are U. S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and the GEICO Skytypers.
